The Worldwide shipping and crewing services ltd. corp(Freeway Int’l Manning Agency Inc. (FREMA)) is a duly-organized sea-based recruitment Company created under and virtue of the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.


The Company was conceived and incorporated by people of good standing in the community: some holding key positions in the government and in the private sector, others with dignified title and the rest are private practitioners. The members of the staff do not only possess high educational qualifications but also have wider exposure to the work on recruitment, documentation and deployment of seafarers.


WorldWide(FREMA) was organized to help provide job opportunities to those who wish to earn their living while cruising the sea. It has been its dream to connect people around the world through marine business, thus creating closer relationship among nations.


With the help of God, the Almighty, coupled with the generosity of relatives and friends and the untiring efforts of the incorporators working hand in hand, the Company has successfully obtained its license to operate from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration in March, 2007.


The Company is committed to discharge its duties and responsibilities religiously and faithfully. It is bound to abide by the rules and regulations, respect the rights of the seafarers and other workers and undertake its obligations by providing competent crew to the vessels of its Principals. Moreover, the Company also binds itself to create and maintain harmonious relationship, not only with its officers and staff but also with its Principals who have been very supportive and without whom (FREMA’s) existence could not effectively operate and continue to survive. The Company is also duty-bound to update its principal on matters deemed necessary in manning relationship.

It is also bound to protect and maintain the prestigious name and standing of the Principal in the business community.  


To achieve this goal and in order to strengthen the relation with its Principal, the Company has plans to have its own in-house training and seminar workshop on ship management which shall be a joint venture with our partner principal in the near future. This will provide the partners additional source of income on one hand and give convenience to the seafarers to upgrade their learning on the other.

The company will leverage our close relationship with our every foreign principal;

To work closely to develop new offers to the crewing market;

To maintain open communications on all issues and concerns relating both to crewing and all its foreign principals, candidates and school partners (Maritime Colleges and Universities) in a collaborative partnership to gather much updated information.

Requirements for Accreditation of the Principal and Enrollment of the Vessel:

The following documents are required by the Administration prior to accreditation of the Principal and enrollment of the vessel:

Authenticated Manning Agreement and Special Power of Attorney containing among others the responsibilities of both principal and manning agency with respect to the employment of seafarers.

List of vessels and their particulars/vessel specifications, including IMO number.

Crew complement of the principal and their corresponding wage scales.

Principal's valid business license, registration certificate or equivalent document or proof of existence of business validated or certified by the issuing authority in the host country.

Other documents which the Administration may deem necessary.

The Vessel Specification will reflect the name of the vessel needed by the Administration prior to its enrollment. The data needed may be seen as follows

If the vessel assigned to the Agency was previously assigned to another agency in the Philippines, a Letter Of No Objection is needed from the local agency so that the new agency can use the vessel's name and deploy seafarers for the available positions.
